仕事内容 SUMMARY
This position provides phone, email and web hosting support to PSPINC customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Answers support calls and emails in both Japanese and English from clients and works with them to resolve issues.
Takes ownership of in-depth issues and troubleshoots as needed.
Educates and explains features and functionality of computers to customers.
Works with other departments to solve problems.
Effectively documents all requests and resolutions.
Troubleshoots and assists customers to perform any remediation steps necessary when problems are realized.
Submits reports to relevant departments should service issues arise that contain information such as time of occurrence and cause of issue.
Escalates ongoing problems to server administrators/engineers after attempting initial troubleshooting procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be Fluent in Japanese and English in a business environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
An enthusiastic approach to learning technology. Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school a plus!

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Customer service experience and excellent communications skills
Experience working in currently supported Windows Environments and Mac OS
Knowledge about networking/internet protocols
Knowledge of email setup and troubleshooting for Microsoft Outlook and Apple mail
Ability to clearly communicate problems and solutions to clients
Problem-solving skills
Self-aware, confident and eager to support the company’s focus on collaboration
Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new technology
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to collaborate as a productive and active team member

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals in Japanese and English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization in either Japanese or English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
